What a great suit! The Lotus Air-O offered a comfortable fit and wrist to ankle warmth. Some suits can be super warm, but kill you with their weight – not the Lotus… She’s a little ripper. The seams are so good your girl is going to hate it – one piss in this baby and you’re surfing in your inner yellow glow – the seams are given nothing away – in or out. Tech wise it’s the 1mm “honey comb” construction within two one 1mm outer layers that is the stand out feature. The tiny pockets of air quickly heat up due to your own body temp. This feature also gives the wearer a nice puffed up flexible vibe. Good if you’re skinny arse like me. My only issue with the suit would be the zip. The zip function once done up is fine, but having to actually link the two zipper ends old school style can be a tad annoying. But I’d find fault with a super model if she gave me the time of day.

All in all this is a bad-arsed suit and although we’re in winter in Australia I’d recommend hitting your local surf shop and perhaps sniffing one out (on sale! Hello!). Come next winter you’ll be thanking me in spades.
