The West Story

The powerful southern swells that push up the vast, ancient west coast of Australia create some of the best and most isolated waves in the world.

This year West celebrates 25 years of making quality wetsuits. Inspired by the hardcore surfing environment of Western Australia, two surfers, Patrick Leahy and Roger Liley created a unique grassroots surfing wetsuit company called West in 1982. Today West is still the grassroots surfing company it was founded as, making the best wetsuit for surfing.
